Smart for the planet

Are your displays sustainable?

Absolutely — at Exhibit Group, we love helping brands show up brilliantly at events while being kind to the planet. Our recent project with Smartly is a perfect example of how sustainability and great design can go hand in hand.

A refresh without the rubbish
When Smartly completed their full brand refresh, they didn’t need to start from scratch. Their existing event stand hardware — all backed by our Exhibit Group warranties — was still in perfect condition. Rather than replacing it, we simply gave it a fresh new skin to match their updated branding.

The result? A stunning new look with minimal waste, lower cost, and the same high-quality structure ready to wow crowds at their next events.

Why does this matter?

Every year, countless event displays are discarded when brands update their look. This creates unnecessary waste, drives up costs, and puts more pressure on our planet’s resources.

With Smartly, we took our standard approach of:

Reuse over replace – quality structures built to last for years

Refresh with purpose – updating only what’s needed for the new brand

Reduce waste – fewer materials used, less going to landfill

It’s a simple but powerful approach that benefits everyone — the brand, the budget, and the environment.

For us, sustainability isn’t about cutting corners or settling for less. It’s about creating event displays that work harder for you, last longer, adapt easily to change, and still turn heads when it matters most.

What did Smartly have to say?

“The team at Exhibit Group were fantastic to work with when we overhauled our brand and needed to refresh our stand signage for events. Their proactive approach and professional advice every step of the way was key to helping us get the details right, especially with some tricky colour matching. They were so patient and helpful, giving us the sense that they wanted it perfect just as much as we did! We wouldn't hesitate to work with them again.” - Smartly, Marketing Manager
